South Island Drive - Drumroaster
eir Oglend, a member of VIR will welcome us to his shop, where we can get coffee and snacks after the drive along with a tour of the roasting facility. There is no seating inside, there is outside seating and the parking lot has plenty of room to set up your chair and enjoy your coffee.
Meet at 0930 at the pullout on Shawnigan Lk Rd (which is the south entrance to Shawnigan Lake) and the Trans Canada Hwy. We will depart at 0945 through to Shawnigan lake village, Cobble Hill, and the back roads of the south Cowichan Valley ending at Drumroaster in the Valleyview Centre. Detailed driving instructions and map will be provided.
The drive is limited to 25 cars and 50 attendees.

Turn at the lights on the Inland Island Highway to the Shell Station on Quinsam Crossing. We welcome all VIR members, past and future, to enjoy some Starbucks coffee, perhaps breakfast and the comradeship of fellow Porsche owners. We look forward to having you join us whenever you can. We plan to throw in a drive every once in a while to some interesting place in either location.

This will be a self-guided mystery tour starting somewhere on Vancouver Island and ending…..somewhere on Vancouver Island! In between, you will enjoy dinner, breakfast and lunch with your fellow adventurers, and a night’s accommodation at an undisclosed location.
Watch our Facebook page and our Event Calendar for details about registration, which will open March 22. Space is limited to 35 cars. Vancouver Island Region members will have the first opportunity to register for a limited time, after which it will be opened up to other regions in the Zone.
