This will be a scenic drive from Cobble Hill to Ladysmith. We will start with coffee and mingling at Drumroaster Coffee and proceed north to lunch in Ladysmith.

Start:  10:30 at Durmroaster Coffee, Valleyview Centre. 1400 Cowichan Bay Rd, Cobble Hill, BC V0R 1L3

Lunch:  The Boatshed Waterfront Grill, 4760 Brenton Page Rd, Ladysmith, BC V9G 1L7

The meeting place is on the corner of Frayne Rd. and the Hwy. The entrance to the lot is off of Lodge Pole Rd., across from Serious Coffee.

Schedule: Meet at 8:30am, depart at 9:00am, arrive at Genoa Bay by 10:00am.

We need to know which breakfast you wish to have at the Genoa Bay Cafe, so confirm this in the registration.

Full breakfast is $18 per person consisting of bacon/sausages, scrambled eggs (green onions optional), hash browns, toast and small waffle (strawberries or blueberries, maple syrup and whipped cream) and coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Gluten toast is also available at no extra charge.

For those not wanting the full breakfast, they will also have tea/coffee and pastry for $8.

Breakfast is served from the Cabana on the dock with attendees paying the Cafe directly. There is lots of deck space next to the cabana and at the restaurant at the top of the gangway, so there is lots of seating space. The drive is limited to 25 cars or 50 attendees.

The group event waiver will be signed at the start.

In 1996 Vancouver Island became a separate region of the Porsche Club of America. Prior to that we were part of the Canada West region. We hope you will join us to celebrate the Club's 25th Anniversary that occurred in 2021. We couldn’t celebrate the event last year so we have planned an outdoor event at Shawnigan Lake School where we can park our cars on the upper rugby pitch and enjoy a family barbeque and get together with our members from all over the Island. We hope to have a large number of our Past Presidents there to celebrate with us as well. There will be a show-n-shine with commemorative ribbons awarded for a variety of classes. The juniors will get to vote on their favourite as well. There will be lots of great draw prizes, a 50/50 in support of our scholarship fund, and the grand prize of a set of Continental Tyres.

We have also arranged for optional accommodation ($55 per person) at one of the school dorms for those who don’t want to travel after the event. The accommodation is in Renfrew House - a young women’s dorm. All rooms have two single beds with either a shared washroom with one other room (jack & jill) or what they refer to as a gang washroom on each floor. As you can imagine the dorms at the school are very deluxe with ammenities and the price is very reasonable. Other options are Airbnb and VRBO as well as the Villa Eyrie Resort which has offered a 10% discount (promo code VIRPCA) but does require a minimum 2 nights.

Please choose your burger type on the form - Beef, Chicken, or Salmon. There will be a selection of salads and non acholic refreshments, and deserts. Note there will be no alcohol available at the venue but you are welcome to BYOB.

The cost is $15 per child under 13 and $45 for everyone else.

Attendees are asked to indicate which class their car will be entered in, all cars are eligible and this will be a mandatory requirement as all cars will be displayed on the pitch and eligible for an award.There is a class for all Porsches. Classes are – 356’s, water cooled transaxle 924, 944, 928, & 968, water cooled post 1999, Boxster, Cayman, Unstock, Panamera & Taycan, Macan & Cayenne

We are also asking for event volunteers to help it go smoothly.
