Fall TSD Rally

September 29, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Starting point:  White Spot Woodgrove/Nanaimo

Starting time: 09:00

Save the date and plan to join in the fun of our second Time Speed Distance (TSD) Rally of 2019 on Sunday 29 September, following a mid-island course.  This is a team event where each car has a driver and a navigator, the driver and navigator may swap between rally legs.  It will be a family friendly event on paved public roadways operating at/below posted speed limits.

This is the third of what was seen as a very enjoyable event last fall and is suitable for both two and four door Porsches.  Our objective is to have fun and we have very experienced rally drivers/instructors to show us the way.

The rally will start in Nanaimo and the end will be near Duncan.  There will be a number of short legs (regularity stages) allowing time to chat between and learn from our instructors led by rally enthusiast/expert Klaus Kreye (below). If you have any questions, or need help getting set up, please contact Klaus: rally@virpca.org

The start point, and Driver’s Meeting, will be outside the White Spot, Woodgrove, Nanaimo.

6561 Island Hwy, Nanaimo, BC V9T 4T7.

End point will be CVI Restaurant at the Cowichan Valley Best Western.

Everyone MUST be present for the start of registration at 9:00 SHARP, with the Driver’s Meeting at 9:30, and Car Zero will depart at 10:00.
If anyone wants to grab a coffee or food they must be there with enough spare time to go across the lot to the Woodgrove Centre Food Court.

As you will be timed when you pass certain check points along the route, removable numbers will be affixed to your car for the event. We have these decals specially made so that they will not damage the paint finish when removed.  You might even want to name your team!

After the rally we will meet for lunch.

The rally cost is $40 per car.  Drivers and navigators will purchase their lunch after the rally.
